Abstract
⺠Electrocatalytic activity of different anodes was studied for the oxidation of landfill leachate. ⺠TiRuSnO2 anode yields only partial COD and ammonium removal. ⺠BDD enables complete COD, colour and ammonium removal. ⺠The degradation of pollutants was ascribed to the synergetic effect of direct and indirect electrolysis.
