Abstract
⺠We evaluate the use of behavioral endpoints as biomarkers of toxicity in amphibians. ⺠Endosulfan impairs locomotor behavior before survival. ⺠Distance moved, speed, activity, and space use are affected at sublethal concentrations. ⺠Behavior predicts ulterior mortality. ⺠Video-tracking shows its potential as sentinel of sublethal effects of pesticides.
