Abstract
⺠Tribenuron methyl (TBM) degrading bacteria were enriched and isolated from polluted soil. ⺠They degrade TBM via production of organic acids and occur commonly in soil. ⺠It is proposed that microbe-mediated acidohydrolysis is involved in TBM degradation and happens at cell-soil interfaces.
