Abstract
⺠Organochlorines in mussels were quantified from the Aleutians and southeast Alaska. ⺠High PCB concentrations occurred at Amchitka, Adak, and Unalaska Islands. ⺠Pesticide levels correlated significantly with seabird density across the islands. ⺠Results do not implicate OCs as a cause of marine mammal declines in the Bering Sea.
