Abstract
⺠Reduction of Cr(VI) follows mixed second-order kinetics in rodent stomach contents. ⺠At carcinogenic doses in mice, stomach reduction capacity is exceeded. ⺠Toxicokinetic models are needed for interspecies extrapolations in risk assessment.
