Abstract
⺠Organochlorine contaminants were assessed in tissues of albatrosses and petrels. ⺠All birds were collected during their migration period in southern Brazil. ⺠PCBs and OCPs profiles were similar among the eight species of Procellariiformes. ⺠Organochlorine concentrations exhibited a high degree of intra-species variability. ⺠Body condition was a significant factor in the distribution of OCs among tissues.
