Abstract
► Nanosilver ingestion reduces GSH levels and increases SOD levels in Drosophila larvae. ► Nanotitanium dioxide ingestion has no effect on GSH levels and increases SOD levels in Drosophila larvae. ► Nanosilver ingestion has toxic effects on development, survivorship, and mating success in Drosophila. ► Nanotitanium dioxide has no effect on development or survivorship in Drosophila. ► Vitamin C fully or partially reverses each toxic effect of nanosilver ingestion in Drosophila.
