Abstract
⺠Statistics and experiment are integrated to investigate Gemini surfactants. ⺠Models are built to explain the self-assemble behavior of surfactants. ⺠Several new Gemini molecules are designed, synthesized and characterized. ⺠A candidate is found to exhibit high activity and low environmental risk.
