Abstract
► Dimethoate exposure resulted in oxidative stress condition in Oncorhynchus mykiss. ► Induced stress could not be handled well as supported by high TBARS concentration. ► Decrease in tissue protein levels was assumed as a general stress response. ► The genotoxic nature of dimethoate was confirmed by in vitro comet assay.
