Abstract
⺠Ca protects roots growth inhibition against Cd toxicity in S. alfredii. ⺠Ca decreased Cd concentration in roots of S. alfredii. ⺠Ca alleviated Cd-induced oxidative stress in roots of S. alfredii. ⺠Ca altered the Cd effects on antioxidant enzymes and promoted GSH biosynthesis.
