Abstract
⺠Crude ethanolic seed extract of S. diffusum induced strong neurobehavioural toxicity against A. aegypti larvae. ⺠Extract exhibited a potent larvicidal effect. ⺠Seed extract induced high level of morphological deformities in larvae and pupae. ⺠It also showed strong molting disrupting effect on larvae. ⺠We conclude that S. diffusum is a promising candidate for the development of new botanical biopesticide.
