Abstract
⺠Snails were exposed to two environmental concentrations of chlorpyrifos for 14 days. ⺠Parameters of reproduction, B-esterases and gutathione S-transferase were studied. ⺠The insecticide induced a decrease in hatchings and survival of the offsprings. ⺠The most sensitivity biomarker was carboxylesterase activity with p-NFB as substrate. ⺠Subchronic exposure to chlorpyrifos could cause a decline in Planorbarius corneus.
