Abstract
⺠Asteraceae vegetables had stronger metal uptake than Liliaceae. ⺠Ammonium acetate was the best extractant. ⺠Lead concentrations in vegetables do not seem correlated to Pb contents in soil. ⺠Trace metals in vegetables could present some potential health risks.
