Abstract
⺠Elucidates age-related vulnerability to air pollution exposure at a city-scale. ⺠Time series analysis using publicly available data sets. ⺠Demonstrates short-term association between air pollutants, meteorology and respiratory hospital admissions/mortality. ⺠PM10 and O3 are positively associated with respiratory hospital admissions in the elderly. ⺠The most elderly age group (80+) is more severely affected by CO concentration.
