Abstract
⺠The study aims to define plant spectral signatures of hydrocarbon contaminations. ⺠Diesel and gasoline contamination were indirectly detected analysing plant spectra. ⺠Detection was achieved based on leaf and canopy spectra. ⺠Remote sensing is a feasible tool for monitoring pipeline leakage.
