Abstract
⺠We measured the concentrations of 4 heavy metals in pigeon feathers through Paris. ⺠Cadmium, Copper, Lead and Zinc were present in pigeons from all 7 sites. ⺠Metals thus still persist in the city though their emissions have been reduced. ⺠Metal concentrations in the feathers depended on the local origin of the pigeons. ⺠These differences suggest limited pigeon movements at a very restricted scale.
