Abstract
⺠The role of arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi (AMF) in As uptake was studied. ⺠Growth of Plantago lanceolata was significantly enhanced by mycorrhizal inoculation. ⺠Arsenic concentration and uptake significantly depended on the AMF isolate. ⺠Arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi may be useful for bioremediation of As contaminated wastes.
