Abstract
⺠56 day microcosm trials examine biochar for remediation of co-contaminated sites. ⺠Biochar reduces leachable Cu concentrations but phytotoxicity remains. ⺠Iron filings are investigated as a co-amendment with biochar to reduce As leaching. ⺠Removal of metal toxicity stimulates phenanthrene degradation. ⺠Biochar could enable revegetation of contaminated sites.
