Abstract
⺠Effects of flowline additives on soil structure and microbial function highlighted. ⺠Phosphonate salts (in scale inhibitor) were found to disrupt soil physical structure. ⺠Glutaraldehyde (in biocides) caused significant reduction of hydrocarbon degradation in soil. ⺠Flowline additive chemicals synergistically affects soil structure and remediative microbial function.
