Abstract
A cooperative reduction model (CRM) considering human health and pollutant reduction costs was established for regional air pollution control at first, and then it was applied in the Yangtze River Delta (YRD) region. Results showed that the CRM performed both better in reducing adverse human health and saving total cost than the current Non-cooperative reduction model (NCRM). The aged group (â¥Â 65 years) benefits most from air pollutant reduction, especially the aged patients suffering from cardiovascular disease.333
