Abstract
⺠A QuEChERS extraction protocol was developed for the analysis of particle-bound PAH. ⺠Obtained extraction efficiencies were equivalent to pressurized solvent extraction. ⺠QuEChERS protocol was validated with the analysis of the NIST SRM 1649a (urban dust). ⺠Uncertainties of measurements are minimized due to the simplicity of the method. ⺠Using QuEChERS, extraction cost is decreased by 5 and productivity is increased by 10.
