Abstract
⺠WWTP is the main source of pharmaceuticals to the receiving river in Shanghai. ⺠The colloids contribute 9-36% to the total pharmaceutical concentration in water. ⺠Truly dissolved diclofenac poses a potential risk to aquatic organisms. ⺠Clofibric acid and diclofenac tend to accumulate in water compartment.
