Abstract
⺠Perfluoroalkyl acids are systematically investigated in the riverine and coastal sediments. ⺠PFOA is the dominant compounds. ⺠Distribution patterns of PFOA in river sites are determined by sources. ⺠Hydrological processes play a major role on the distribution of PFOA in coastal sediment. ⺠Risk assessment showed negligible effects of PFASs to benthic organism.
