Abstract
⺠Mass transfer of Polybrominated diphenyl ethers (PBDEs) from e-waste to water and landfill leachate was measured. ⺠Analytical measurements were conducted by two independent laboratories. ⺠Temperature had limited influence in mass-transfer. ⺠Lower pH enhances mass transfer from e-waste to the aqueous phase. ⺠Dislodgement of fine dust from the surface of the e-waste particles may be taking place.
