Abstract
⺠TEM was used to observe the aged individual particles from firecrackers/fireworks during the Chinese New Year. ⺠Many fine metal-rich particles were emitted during fireworks and transported long distance. ⺠Emissions from fireworks/firecrackers can deteriorate air quality and cause a regional haze during the Chinese New year.
