Abstract
► We study groundwater NO3−N and DOC in tillage under over-winter cover treatments. ► Mustard treatment significantly reduced NO3−N and increased DOC in groundwater. ► This was not observed under natural regeneration treatment. ► Observed DOC increase is potentially important for groundwater denitrification.
