Abstract
⺠We evaluated herbicide contamination and dispersion pattern in lowland springs. ⺠Terbuthylazine were the only herbicide found, together with its metabolite desethylterbuthylazine. ⺠Herbicide in spring water could originate up to 1800 m in the recharge basin. ⺠Detected herbicide concentrations were not a direct threat for the biota.
