Abstract
⺠Produced water from offshore oil industry contains naturally occurring radionuclides. ⺠Published research on the impacts to biota from these radionuclides is reviewed. ⺠Review includes impact of added chemicals on the fate of discharged radionuclides. ⺠Studies indicate negligible risk to biota but substantial uncertainties remain.
