Abstract
⺠Trace element extractability was evaluated in estuarine sediments. ⺠Cd, Mn, Pb and Zn reactivity was high compared with As, Co, Cr, Cu, Mo and Ni. ⺠FeS is likely to retain Cd, Mn, Pb and Zn in estuarine sediments. ⺠Trace elements provide a multi-element signature for acid sulfate soil drainage.
