Abstract
⺠Filling quarries with dredged seaport sediments represents an interesting alternative for these materials. ⺠A specific ecotoxicological risk assessment methodology has been formulated in order to validate this potential solution. ⺠This methodology has been tested on 3 sediments. ⺠The study concludes that the landfilling of sediments "1" and "2" presents a low risk for the aquatic ecosystems. ⺠At the opposite, sediment "3" presents a high ecotoxicological risk.
