Abstract
► Filling quarries with dredged seaport sediments represents an interesting alternative for these materials. ► A specific ecotoxicological risk assessment methodology has been formulated in order to validate this potential solution. ► This methodology has been tested on 3 sediments. ► The study concludes that the landfilling of sediments "1" and "2" presents a low risk for the aquatic ecosystems. ► At the opposite, sediment "3" presents a high ecotoxicological risk.
