Abstract
⺠Dose-response functions, air pollution history and climate models were combined. ⺠Haze of modern glass in Paris follows a gradual rise from the 16th century. ⺠Haze reached a peak about 1950 and decreases in the present and into the future. ⺠The likely damage to mediaeval stained glass follows a similar pattern.
