Abstract
⺠Artificial neural network algorithm is developed for estimation of PM by synergy of satellite and ground based observations. ⺠Correlation between observed and estimated PM is observed to follow noticeable downward trend with increasing PBLH. ⺠The overall accuracy of PM retrieval from ANN is found to be good enough to estimate PM concentrations in eastern China.
