Abstract
⺠Adsorption of arsenic on natural solids (soils, stream sediments, peats) ⺠Two sources of arsenic in the environment (atmospheric (AsV), and subsoil (AsIII)) ⺠As adsorption on natural solids represents balanced process running according to Langmuir model. ⺠High As-Fe correlation confirmed the dominant arsenic affinity to Fe particles. ⺠Fe-OM colloids play a significant role in As transport in the soil-surface water-groundwater system.
