Abstract
► Intestinal parasitic infections prevalence in HIV+ people was evaluated in Bioko. ► Stool samples were analyzed by microscopy and immunochromatography. ► High proportion of pathogenic helminths and protozoa was found. ► Only pathogenic protozoa infection was statistically associated with HIV co‐infection. ► Environmental and educational factors are of critical importance in the spread of parasites.
