Abstract
⺠Intestinal parasitic infections prevalence in HIV+ people was evaluated in Bioko. ⺠Stool samples were analyzed by microscopy and immunochromatography. ⺠High proportion of pathogenic helminths and protozoa was found. ⺠Only pathogenic protozoa infection was statistically associated with HIV coâinfection. ⺠Environmental and educational factors are of critical importance in the spread of parasites.
