Abstract
⺠A modified model was developed to predict road traffic noise with significant motorcycle traffic. ⺠There was a significant correlation of 0.75 between the predicted and measured noise levels. ⺠This method had an accuracy of 2.1 dBA at 42 sampling sites close to main roads in Taichung City. ⺠This model is more precise than the Nordic method in predicting road traffic noise in Taiwan.
