Abstract
⺠Cyanobacteria have an enormous number of bioactive compounds. ⺠We analyze the genotoxicity and ecotoxicity from two strains of Microcystis aeruginosa using Allium cepa. ⺠Allium cepa was found suitable for as a pre-screening technique during cyanobacterial blooms. ⺠This is important since it is a more economical technique that can be applied in developing nations.
