Abstract
⺠An ethno-cultural survey was conducted of the Xeni Gwet'in community in the Nemiah Valley, British Columbia, Canada. ⺠The diet was predominated with fish and big game, and supplemented by berries and roots. ⺠The subsistence lifestyle of the Xeni Gwet'in First Nation is conducive to enhanced soil ingestion.
