Abstract
⺠Children's exposure to Pb through the consumption of local food stuff was assessed. ⺠We addressed the full chain from policy scenarios to monetary valuation. ⺠We compared Business as Usual (BAU) with most feasible technical reductions - MFTR. ⺠We provide estimates for external exposure, Pb blood levels and the loss of IQ. ⺠The calculated costs underestimate real costs entailed in Pb exposure.
