Abstract
⺠The toxicity of Pb and Cd + Pb spiked in three soil types is evaluated on Collembola F. candida. ⺠Reproduction was the most significantly decreased in the acid and organic matter enriched soil. ⺠Bioaccumulation in collembolan from the soil solution was limited. ⺠The lowest Pb toxicity was in the carbonaceous soil. ⺠The toxicity was reduced when Cd and Pb were spiked in combination.
