Abstract
⺠We discussed the effects of co-exposure to UV light and chlorine on properties of natural organic matters in waters. ⺠UV irradiation led to increases in SDBPFP and STOXFP of NOM waters from chlorination. ⺠We suggest that applying an UV disinfection technology to a particular source may not be always DBP problem-free.
