Abstract
⺠Wild deer are suitable bioindicators of fluoride pollution. ⺠Bone fluoride concentration and dental fluorosis are useful biomarkers of exposure to fluoride. ⺠In North Bohemia, a reduction of fluoride exposure of resident deer occurred since the mid 1990s. ⺠Emission control measures caused a marked decline of the fluoride deposition in North Bohemia.
