Abstract
⺠We assessed episodic contamination on aquatic system due to agricultural activities. ⺠Physico-chemical monitoring and in situ bioassays were evaluated. ⺠Increased nutrient and herbicide levels were measured with agrochemicals application. ⺠Concomitantly, algae growth and daphnids feeding rate were depressed. ⺠General decline of water quality but the whole system could seemingly recover.
