Abstract
⺠Changes in Aveiro rainwater inorganics were assessed between 2008-2009 and 1986-1989. ⺠The concentrations of H+ were in the same range as twenty years ago. ⺠NH4+ and NSS-SO42â were lower in 1986-1989 than those observed in 2008-2009. ⺠An increase in NO3â concentrations was observed in 2008-2009 relatively to 1986-1989. ⺠An important contribution of local sources is suggested for NH4+, NO3â and NSS-SO42â.
