Abstract
⺠The first of its kind exploratory research in the Stable Continental Regions. ⺠The research methodology showed the aquifer response to tectonic stresses. ⺠Cyclic hydrochemical changes helped in foreseeing the earthquake. ⺠Real time EC measurement and on-line data transfer may help in short term forecasting. ⺠The research highlights the recurrence of M > 5 earthquakes every 5 year.
