Abstract
⺠In the present study we examine 75Se sorption on minerals typically found in soils. ⺠Dialysis membranes were successfully used to assess the minerals competition for Se sorption. ⺠We conclude that silica release by bentonite dissolution lowers the Se sorption on goethite. ⺠The results are successfully modelled using a diffuse double layer model constructed with the geochemical code PhreeqC.
