Abstract
► A simulation and optimization approach was used to improve PM10 emission inventory. ► A transfer coefficient matrix was used to represent source-receptor relationships. ► The emission inventory error was reduced from 17.0 to 7.9% at the regional level. ► The emission inventory error was reduced from 31.44 to 14.17% at the county level. ► The method framework is effective for developing high-accuracy emission inventory.
