Abstract
⺠Ammonia cannot be long-range transported in gas phase. ⺠Long-range atmospheric transport of reduced nitrogen is limited by particulate acids. ⺠Particulate ammonium is charged balanced by non-marine sulphate and nitrate. ⺠Ammonia concentrations increase when particulate ammonium concentrations go down.
