Abstract
⺠We have updated land cover and leaf area index in China in MEGAN to estimate BVOCs. ⺠Simulated isoprene emissions in China have large interannual variations of 15-42%. ⺠Simulated monoterpene emissions in China have large interannual variations of 10-32%. ⺠Interannual variations of BVOCs can lead to 2-5% differences in O3 and SOA in July.
