Abstract
⺠We monitored primary pollutants throughout in a low income Los Angeles neighborhood. ⺠Multiple factors lead to elevated ultrafine particles in residential areas. ⺠High traffic density, many high emitters and ubiquitous stop signs all contribute. ⺠Photochemical production appears to elevate ultrafine particles in the afternoon.
