Abstract
⺠A new method for fugitive dust monitoring was validated in wind tunnel experiments. ⺠DustScan is unpowered, cylindrical, with removable adhesive dust collection media. ⺠Exposed to aliquots of known dust at 2-10 m sâ1 in the wind tunnel experiments. ⺠DustScan was directionally accurate at all wind speeds tested. ⺠Antithetic dust catch proportions were much lower than for the BS 1747 Part 5 gauge.
